If you recall my blog from March, I suggested that “Space is the New Luxury“, people are looking for more space, inside the home and outside. I have to admit that I have never been busier in my 35+ years in real estate than I am right now [and have been for the past few months], just take a look at the Market Report and graphs below. Urbanites are fleeing congestion and moving north of Barrie.
To have the freedom of visiting and discovering local sites, exploring trails, beaches, caves and mountains, to enjoy the pool in the backyard, read a book on a muskoka chair or catch a snooze in the hammock, to walk within your own private acreage until you get to that springfed stream and forget the stress of everyday life, that is what we have and that is what so many are seeking when they decide to make the move to South Georgian Bay, Grey-Bruce or Muskoka.
And while our summers are never long enough, we make sure to enjoy every minute of it, knowing that living in a four season destination, change is around the corner with the breathtaking fall colours, the harvesting of pumpkins and making of pies and the many winter activities we are also known for. There will be plenty of time to savour and talk about the cooler months but in the meantime lets cruise Georgian Bay, toast to health and the fortune of calling this area our home.

As always, I appreciate your time and I remain forever committed to be your local real estate advisor and to provide you with the bespoke experience you deserve.

With all my appreciation.

Summertime in Collingwood

We are hopeful that one day it will be safe to do all the things we enjoy doing with our friends and family. Our photographer Chris Gardiner has captured some of the many features that make Collingwood a great place to live, work and play.

A Real Estate Company that Gives Back

There are two organizations near and dear to our hearts, Special Olympics and the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS).
We proudly donate a portion of our income from real estate sales to both organizations.

As you probably know, Special Olympics has impacted the lives of its athletes in profound ways, most notably in building self confidence, friendships and self-esteem.

The GTHS is a non-profit charity that operates an animal center serving the south Georgian Bay region by providing shelter for homeless animals and adopting them to caring families.
And remember… Your Referrals Help Continue the Life Changing Work by Special Olympics and The GTHS! We are on a quest to raise $25,000 for these organizations!

This is where you come in… If you or anyone you know is considering making a move, we would like to offer them a FREE No Obligation to Sell Consultation to discuss just how they can make their move, get what they want and do it with the least hassle.

Simply call me direct at 705-441-5800 or forward my number on.

The market in our area remains strong, as we continue to see an increase in the number of sales and the average price of homes in the area, not only compared to last month but also when comparing them to July 2019.
